The Retner connector for Claude lets you manage your Retner workspace in plain language, inside Claude. Ask Claude to build a COD confirmation journey, recover abandoned checkouts, segment your repeat buyers, or schedule a WhatsApp broadcast. Claude does the work in your own Retner account. You sign in with your Retner login, approve access, and can disconnect at any time.
What is the Retner connector for Claude?
Retner is an omnichannel customer engagement and marketing automation platform for D2C and e-commerce brands. It covers WhatsApp, SMS, RCS, email, AI calling, AI chatbots and a website chatbot.
The connector links Claude to that platform using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools in other apps. Once connected, you can run Retner by chatting with Claude instead of clicking through the dashboard.

How to connect Retner to Claude
You need a Retner account and a Claude account that supports connectors.
Add Retner as a custom connector
- Open claude.ai and go to Settings → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Enter the connector URL:

- Sign in with your Retner login, review the permissions and click Allow.
Claude Desktop
Add this to your claude_desktop_config.json, then restart Claude Desktop. Your browser opens for sign-in the first time you use it.

Safety and control
You sign in yourself
The connector uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You approve access on a Retner page, and Retner never shows your password to Claude.
It only touches your workspace
Every request is limited to the Retner account you signed in with.
Spending is previewable
Messages, broadcasts, emails and AI calls use your Retner wallet balance, the same as in the dashboard. Tools that send support a dry run that returns audience size and cost without sending anything.
AI assistants start switched off
A new AI assistant is created inactive and only goes live when you switch it on.
You can disconnect any time
Go to Dashboard → API Keys → Claude Connector → Connected apps and disconnect. This revokes the access Claude had.
Review before you approve
Claude acts only when you ask in the conversation. Read what it proposes before you ask it to send.

- WhatsApp connected in Retner for WhatsApp features.
- The AI Calling or AI Chatbot add-on for those features, and the Email, RCS or SMS channels if you want to use them.
- A Claude account that supports connectors.

Yes. Disconnect it from Claude's connector settings, or from Dashboard → API Keys → Claude Connector → Connected apps in Retner.
Is this an official Anthropic product?

No. Retner is an independent product, and Claude is made by Anthropic. The connector uses the open MCP standard.
